SUMMARY:MLIR Compilers for Heterogeneous Computing
DESCRIPTION:Workshop\n\nMLIR Compilers for Heterogeneous Computing\n\nNeue
ndorffer\n\nWith the slowing of CMOS technology scaling trends and the con
tinued growth of compute requirements for applications like 5G wireless an
d machine learning, there has been a widespread emphasis on new accelerato
r architectures emphasizing heterogeneity. However, programming heterogene
ous devices can be challenging, requiring heterogenous design tools suppor
ting multiple levels of abstraction. This talk will discuss how MLIR, a ne
w compiler infrastructure which directly supports multiple levels of abstr
action, can enable these new design tools to support next generation heter
ogeneous systems.\n\nSession Format: Recorded\n\nRegistration Category: Wo
