Nathan DeBardeleben

Biography
Nathan DeBardeleben completed a Ph.D. in computer engineering in 2004 and began working at LANL with a focus on parallel computing. During his tenure at the laboratory, he has worked on many mission tasks including supercomputer fault tolerance and reliability. Since 2019, he has led the Machine Learning portion of the Enabling Manufacturing effort in the Advanced Simulation and Computing program. In this role, Nathan's team works with LANL design and production agency experts to build machine learning models of their data, gain insight, and ultimately improve processes. Nathan is also the Co-Executive Director of the Ultrascale Systems Research Center at LANL, an externally facing entity at LANL that focuses on collaborative R&D with universities and industrial partners.
