Bill Reus
Biography
Dr. Reus is a data scientist and HPC application developer for the U.S. Department of Defense, where he and a team of analysts spend their days using supercomputers, statistical models, and terabytes of data to answer questions in the domain of cybersecurity. As part of this work, Dr. Reus is a major contributor to the open-source Arkouda project (github.com/Bears-R-Us/arkouda), which enables interactive data science in distributed memory. Before joining the government, Dr. Reus earned a Ph.D. in physical chemistry from Harvard University researching molecular electronics.
